Coordinating Manufacturing Career Experiences

Shannon coordinates the day-to-day details that turn manufacturing career exploration plans into meaningful learning experiences. As MANTEC’s Manufacturing Career Concierge, she responds to requests from teachers and counselors, contacts manufacturers, schedules classroom presentations and facility tours, and manages the communications and logistics associated with each activity. She also supports the implementation of What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? and MFG U programs by coordinating timelines, participant information, forms, family communications, and program details. Her work provides the organization and follow-through needed to move career exploration activities from planning into execution and keep schools, manufacturers, students, and families informed throughout the process.
