Choose the Camp That Fits Your Interests
MFG U gives high school juniors and seniors a chance to experience these fields before making decisions about college and careers. Each camp focuses on a different area of study and combines hands-on learning, activities that help you better understand your strengths and interests, college campus experiences, and visits to real companies where you can see how those skills are used.
AI & Technology
For students who like technology, computers, troubleshooting, and figuring out how systems work.
You can study AI, computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or related fields and use those skills to help manufacturers automate processes, protect systems and data, solve technical problems, improve efficiency, and make better decisions.
Applied Engineering
For students who like building, making, testing, fixing, and turning ideas into something real.
You can study applied engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing engineering technology, or related fields and use those skills to help manufacturers design and improve products, troubleshoot equipment and processes, solve production problems, and turn ideas into practical solutions.
Engineering
For students who enjoy math, science, analysis, design, and solving complex problems.
You can study mechanical, electrical, industrial, or other engineering disciplines and use those skills to help manufacturers design products and systems, improve how things are made, solve technical problems, increase quality and efficiency, and develop new solutions.
Supply Chain Management
For students who are organized, strategic, good with details, and interested in how businesses operate.
You can study supply chain management, business, operations, finance, or related fields and use those skills to help manufacturers plan what they need, manage suppliers and inventory, control costs, move products to customers, and keep the entire business running smoothly.
