Manufacturers need engineers to tackle these challenges every day. MFG U: Engineering gives you two weeks at Penn State Harrisburg to experience engineering-style problem-solving before college and see how engineers use those skills in real workplaces.
What You’ll Do
During the camp, you’ll:
- Tackle engineering design challenges that require planning, testing, and refining your ideas
- Learn how engineers analyze systems, optimize performance, and improve reliability
- Work through challenging problems using engineering concepts and approaches
- Visit engineering and manufacturing facilities to see how ideas move from design to production
- Have the opportunity to earn the Certified Manufacturing Associate credential from SME
